Mirror, mirror on the wall........

I've always wanted to alter a mirror.

First I painted the frame with black acrylic paint.

I stamped some of my favorite images on cardstock and used embossing powder.

Then I sprayed the pieces of cardstock with metallic mist.

Glued the pieces of cardstock on the frame with decoupage glue and painted

 3 layers of decoupage glue over the complete frame.

Altered boxes

Last week, I have altered two (card) boxes.

First I have painted the edges black with acrylic paint.
The front of the boxes are sprayed with distress ink with perfect pearls.
I have used some nice stamps and punched out some (Sizzix) figures from the series
Alterations of T!m Holtz.
Glued the figures on the boxes and...... done!!

2 beautifull boxes for storing some punched out figures ready to use.

The first project I'll show here is an altered wine box.

Now I have a beautiful box for my distress inks.

I think it turned out very nice.
